iBooks
iBooks is a short film that examines the physical body’s relationship with digital interfaces. Platforms like iBooks were first introduced as abysmal parodies of the material world.
As things like woodgrain, a smart phone with an old telephone ring, and a shutter sound emenating from a digital camera solidify into historical relics of industrialization, the vernacular of mechanical labor and expression go through a similar conceptual reconstruction.
